Blake comes naturally by his passion for private property rights. He grew up in the Connecticut countryside, absorbing a reverence for the the bond between the land and the families that held tight to it, sometimes for generations. In law school, he found in property rights law a way to serve those values and fight back against the government’s misuse of eminent domain laws.
